about taxes and dues on Japane residents
This site provides you a brief guide about Japanese taxes and dues.
This site is to give you a brief guide about Japanese taxes and dues imposed
on individuals.
They are very difficult to understand, indeed.
Actually most of Japanese also do not know precisely about them. However,
a Japanese can ask for necessary explanations easily if he/she wants. In
contrast, a foreigner can not do so unless he/she are extremely good at
Japanese.
You must feel uneasy to pay taxes and public insurance premiums, not absolutely
of small amount, if you hardly understand them.
I hope this site helps you to know better about Japanese individual taxes,
public insurance systems.
If it can do it, you shall live in this country more comfortably.

What the documents tell you ?
Even for Japanese people, it is never easy to understand documents sent from a Tax office or other public office. And frankly speaking, it is very few people who look into these documents.
However, it is out of question that they tell something very important and they can help you so much.
Here, I will prepare english translations of some related documents.
